System crash when recording
I just purchased a 7900 XTX, it runs fine in games, benchmarks, and stress tests. When I attempt to record with OBS or Adrenalin the system powers down, looks like overcurrent protection to me. Since I make YouTube content this is a show stopper. This rig was running a RTX 2080 just fine for several months. The higher the recording quality settings, the more acute the problem is. When I crank up the quality and initiate a stress test the system instantly powers down.

I have corrected the issue but thought it would be good to leave this up so others may learn from it. I used a single 12pin power cable that splits into two 6pin cables. I didn't think anything of this at the time and it worked just fine on my old 2080, and on this new 7900 XTX, until it didn't. Not enough current available from the PSU on a single 'Y' cable; I'm sure others have made this same mistake. I'm now running on two separate power headers, two separate cables, and everything is working just fine. Don't be like me, use two cable for the proper power delivery.
