I pre-ordered the game STALKER 2 which is coming out this Wednesday, November 20 and it seems that it is very heavy to run...

Is there or will there be a driver planned before the release of the game please?

Im new here, and recently i got a RX 7800 XT 16GB , and im waiting for new drivers, hope they release a new driver for this masterpiece...im also waiting, nvidia is really fast about new drivers...

AMD is usually a little late when it comes to driver support for latest games, just be a little patient and they'll release the driver eventually. Speaking as a user of ATi to AMD cards through the years. For games marketed with AMD, then yes, driver support from Day 1.

Unfortunately, for nVidia TWIMTBP games, I'd expect some delay for obvious reasons....*wink, wink*

Well the game STALKER 2 is working fine finally with my 7900XTX… around 65-70FPS without FSR in 4K maxxed out… 

the game appear in the Adrenalin software 

i’ve seen no issues but with optimized drivers it could be a Little bit better but ok it’s working fine

yes im also playing well, but obvious we would like to have an optimized driver, sometimes makes difference

It's a lot of collective delirium. On several serious websites where they tested different GPUs, the AMD cards are performing very similarly to the NVIDIA cards. Keep in mind that the game is sponsored by NVIDIA. The problem isn't that AMD is releasing placebo drivers to make you happy, but rather the mediocre performance that the developers left the game with. Personally, I'm playing very smoothly without crashes, but there are many people with NVIDIA cards and their dedicated driver for STALKER 2 crying about it, lol.

Yep true i dont have single crash so far and no freezing im playing game on 1440p epic settings with FSR NAtive and frame gen and got around 75 to 110fps in my R7 5800X3D and rx 7900gre it works fine but sometimes there is stutter here and there cuz its Unreal Engine so traversal stutter is gonna be there alsways if devs dont fix it also game works mutch more stable on AMD gpus but a bit less fps but its fine also game ready driver dont do that mutch devs need to optimized the game fist and game need a lot of work still.

I think you're right. This is more about the game than the AMD driver. 

I run this game very well no issues ( not tested the patch released yesterday yet ) 

I feel like AMD is preparing something with 24.11.1 ... 

But in fact they fixed so many issues in 24.10.1 that's nice

Very True fust the devs must optimize game and fix its issues cuz amd cant do that for them amd just release drivers when game bé ready plus drivers dont change a lot the and most of the tíme they nôt give you aditionally fps but more Like better stability in game it self plus better smoothnes. Dont expect that drives do wonders cuz they dont, first devs need to try fix main issues that game háve but yesterday there was first mayor big 14gb hot fix and a lot of change from texture bug to overpovered enemies a lot change but in a good way they fix main issues with quest nôt progresing or fall thru textures also fix things Like monster es no longer takes 4 mags from ak do die nôt its Like one mag which is great and also the biggest issue i ha e was that stupid pop in trees and objects in distance and it looks they fix it cuz i no longer háve that also reflexions looks better and dinamic wather also change a bit over all its soo mutch better now and also i dont háve a single stutter after update yesterday and it looks Like they fix cpu problem and game now run smooth even in the camps where are most of the NPCs just perfect in 1440p epic with fsr native and frame generation i gót now 85fps and around 110fps so max fps stay the samé but min fps go higher by 10fps which is really nice game allready feel more smooth and yes i find out that game still need more over hull in performance cuz now i have in samé settings without frame gen 60fps so its better a bit but still in other games i have wayy higher fps so yeah there is still need some work to do but they are on good way cuz this fust hot fix show us that they care. And in my opinion bé glad that you have AMD gpu cuz i play as well on Rtx 4070super and each tíme you turn on or off frame gen game s..t it self soooo in my opinion this is better now and i dont care my r7 5800x3d and rx 7900gre working just fine in this game and now even better cant complain.

I'd also like to report that I am playing STALKER 2 pretty smoothly. I'm on a 5950X and RX5700 on a 1440p monitor. Obviously I have to use FSR with Frame Gen which nets me an average of 75-80FPS. Not bad for this old card. No crashes, and haven't seen any artifacts. So far have played a few hours.

All Graphics settings on Medium, no motion blur.

Thats pretty good ressults from that hardware mate im glad its work but still the input lag must be noticable make sure to activate anty lag in AND adrenalin helps me a bit not mutch but all help is better than nothing but i still with that in native 1440 ressolution we can get at least 80 to 100fps that would be soo nice and smooth experince but until than we must wait. I also playing on 1440p epic settings with FSR native and FSR frame gen on sharpen on 40 and motion blure on 70 makes game very smooth also my specs are R7 5800X3D and rx 7900GRE OC version and i got around 75 to 110 fps with frame gen without frame gen i get max 55 to 60fps  and after last two hot fixes i got a bit less fps around 8fps less but slightly more smoothness and what i find very weird is that my gpu  consuption should be 260 to 270watts in this gama i already saw 305watts regular which is nuts.
