Just bought and installed an 6950 XT. Coming from an RTX 3070. Now games are randomly crashing, I've gotten a weird BSOD with artifacts once and while I play I get random fps drops. I installed a new PSU of 850W at the same time as the 6950. It should be enough power?
I noticed that in the 10min stress test done with Adrenalin when the GPU clock speed drops to 3 MHz, the Power Consumption also dipped in the same spot. Does this mean there's a power issue? I'm wondering if I placed the PSU the wrong way, if that even matters? Or is it the drivers of the GPU. All of these issues started when I installed the 6950 XT.
My PC is a Ryzen 9 5900X with 32GB or RAM and my PSU is a Thermaltake Toughpower Grand RGB 850W 80+ Gold
I even reset my Windows thinking it was a software issue but I just had three crashes of my game Dead by Daylight
