Signal not found(6750xt qick)

Hi everyone!

I have some problems with my setup. It's very specific so I'm gonna describe it best i can.

I've bought all new components in May this year. All except ssd and hdd.

I've been using the PC normally until about 2 months ago. Monitor started to display "signal not found".

I thought it was the cable so I switched from hdmi to dp. Problem persisted. At random monitor would find the signal and everything worked.

I tried everything from new cables for display, reinserting components, reinstalling windows, BIOS updates, software updates, nothing.

I also took the whole pc to IT service for diagnostics, they found nothing, according to them pc worked normally under all stress tests.

Yesterday I switched my graphics card with the one friend borrowed me(5500xt) and everything worked fine.

So my question is what do you think it is? At this point all indicates to bad graphics card, but how does it work on random? Ex. I restart pc like 10times and one time if it works it will work the next 10 times and I can play whatever. But I leave it turned off over night and the next morning its the same thing. My best guess is its some electrical issue.

My setup:

Ryzen 7 5800x

2 x 16GB RAM

6750xt QICK 12GB

1 x M2 NVME

1 x SSD 512 GB

1 x HDD 1 TB

PSU: beQuiet 750W gold

Monitor: ASUS 31.5” 2K Monitor (VP32AQ) - WQHD (2560 x 1440)

Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:

  1. Try connecting your monitor to a different computer.
  2. If the monitor works on a different computer, then the issue is likely with your computer, not the monitor.
  3. Try using a different cable to connect your monitor to your computer.
  4. If the monitor works with a different cable, then the issue is likely with the cable, not the monitor or the computer.
  5. Try updating the firmware on your monitor.
  6. You can check the ASUS website for the latest firmware updates for your monitor.
  7. Try resetting the monitor to factory default settings.
  8. You can usually do this by pressing a combination of buttons on the monitor, such as the menu button and the power button.
  9. If you have tried all of the above and the monitor is still not working, then it is likely that the monitor is faulty and needs to be replaced.

If you have determined that the issue is with your computer, then you can try the following troubleshooting steps:

  • Try updating the BIOS on your motherboard.
  • You can check the motherboard manufacturer's website for the latest BIOS updates for your motherboard.
  • Try uninstalling and reinstalling the graphics card drivers.
  • You can download the latest graphics card drivers from the AMD website.
  • Try running a stress test on your graphics card to see if it is stable.
  • There are a number of different graphics card stress testing tools available, such as FurMark and MSI Kombustor.
  • If you have tried all of the above and the issue is still persisting, then it is likely that the graphics card is faulty and needs to be replaced.
  • It is important to note that the fact that the graphics card works on random does not mean that it is not faulty.
  • It is possible that the graphics card becomes unstable when it is heated up or when it is under a lot of load.

If you are unable to resolve the issue on your own, you may need to take your computer to a qualified technician for further assistance.
