Hello, so I recently bought an GIGABYTE AORUS RX580 8G. And after installing the drivers and all, i've noticed that when I try to change the resolution (or refresh rate), try to tab into games, or disable and enable FreeSync that the monitor would turn off (with the monitors led's showing me that its on) and the sound when I plug in something and plug out something starts playing rapidly. It goes completely black as if I had turned it off.
What I've tried so far
- Switching out the DisplayPort cable for an HDMI cable
- Undervolting the GPU's core and VRAM
- reinstalling the drivers (at the time it was 19.1.1 and 19.3.1, tried both. 19.1.1 was a bit more stable)
- reinstalling the card itself
My PC's Specs:
AMD Ryzen 5 2600 (overclocked to 3.75GHz on stock voltages)
GIGABYTE AORUS RX580 8G (undervolted from 1150 core to 1070 core and from 950 VRAM to 900 VRAM, also upped power limit)
MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC (newest BIOS is installed)
2x 4GB G.SKILL Value 2400MHz CL16 (overclocked to 2800MHz with same timings)
be quiet! 400W System Power 9 80+ Bronze (People said it'll be fine.)
