Description of Original Problem:
A couple of days ago I installed my new Sapphire RX 570 Pulse card and have since run into a certain issue with the fans. Sapphire's Intelligent Fan Control is meant to keep fans from spinning under light load to limit the noise and energy consumption while activating them when the load is increased.
So far my experience with this has been as follows: after I turn on my PC the fans are idle. I then proceed to launch any video game and fans start spinning as intended, keeping the temperature at anywhere between 50 and 60 degrees. while also going idle again after I quit said game. However, if I then increase the GPU load again later (without rebooting my PC in-between) the fans won't start spinning and the temperature is going to rise up to 80+ degrees.
All of this happens on factory settings, no manual controls. Is there something I should do about manual fan controls, or should I assume the card is faulty?
