Hello,
I bought a year ago a ryzen 5600G in order to use it as a IGPU. Two days ago, I was playing League of Legends and got a blackscreen. My PC won't turn off by pressing pôwer button so I has to switch off the power. When I restarted the computer, there were many artifacts that won't go away.
I tried to solve it by many ways : Use other HDMI cable / Update Drivers / Remove drivers with ddu and install with the latest version / Change RAM slots / Windows Update ; nothing worked. I don't think it is a problem related to cables or my screen because my friends can see the problem while screensharing. I also tried to boot on Linux, the artifacts are still there.
Build:
ASUS TFU Gaming B550-plus
AMD ryzen 5 5600 g
2 x 3600 MHz Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4
TX-M TX750M plus Gold
Here are some pictures
Do you have another RAM kit to try? Other than possibly a RAM issue, it looks like your iGPU burned out.
I'm gonna ask a friend if he can lend me one. Is it common that iGPU burn out? I bough it a year ago and didn't use it very often and wasn't playing game with huge graphics.
I have broken many a computer. I don't think I ever burned out an iGPU but I have damaged RAM and dealt with fried GPUs. This looks kind of like a RAM issue. Most dedicated GPUs artifact for a little bit and then just stop working.
Ok thanks for your help and advice! Just one last thing I forgot to tell, when using Microsoft Basis Display Adapter as GPU there is no artifact, I don't know if it can be relevant ?
