Ryzen 5 3500U GPU increase memory clock when AC its connected

Hi,

I would like to "disable" the Memory Clock increase of the GPU when the laptop is AC connected. I've replicated the same behaviour either on Windows and Linux, so this its not related to OS energy profile. The powersave energy profile on battery works flawless ( Windows/Linux ) almost all time silence laptop, but when AC adapter its connected, the GPU increase his "mclk" ( memory clock ) from 400Mhz to 933Mhz ( windows/Linux ) and the fan start to work every 5 or 10 minutes due this. Independent on the video usage. Who is changing this parameter ? Lenovo says they do not alter that option in the bios. I dont need more gpu power for my laptop.

Would appreciate your help.

Thank you in advance.

HI,

please sent 'microcode' (linux) or bios update ( lenovo ). The firmware for amd ryzen 5 3500u its changing the gpu memory clock (mclk) from 433mhz to 933mhz when charging AC connected, independent of video usage and configured power profile. This increase a lot the cpu temp and fan activity.

Any help help me change my BIOS change. (I'm also using Lenovo E495.)
I think the problem is in Intelligent Thermal Solution Drivers.

Did you solve it?

[If I still can't figure it out, I'll do a clean install Windows]
