Hello!

Im looking for maximum possible temperature for the RX590 (Fatboy).

Not able to find it, does anyone know what the maximum possible (not critical) temperature for the RX590 is? Is it about the same as 580?

I have a pretty decent airflow in the tower, on automatic fan settings the temperatures can go up to 82-84c on some games. Is that okay? What is the temperature

where i should start to worry? I know that the chip and components are pretty durable, so i do not want to wear my fans out without any reason.

I would like to know the critical temperature for the 590 gpu.

I think the Polaris chips can handle about 95C before they start to thermal throttle back

Any card that is over 70C I look at fixing the thermal material as cards should not be that warm even loaded with the fuzzy donut

95c is far away, most games run at 70-80c with low fan RPM. Some like to go up to 82-84, but that is pretty much it. I do not want to run my fans (wear them out)

if the temperature is not critical for the components.

Thanks again, i will just make sure to never go above 90c.

except for small cards like my GTX 750, I select cards with dual fans which outperform the blower design AMD seems to like

Sapphire's Nitro design with dual fans are the right idea
