Hello and thanks in advance for your help. I recently completed my first build and it's 95% working. Screen 1 is a Samsung SyncMaster 205BW. Win 10 recognizes the SyncMaster by name. It's connected to the GPU via HDMI to a DVI converted to the DVI port on the monitor. It works fine.
Screen 2 is a brand new, HP 12KD LED monitor. I connected it to the card via a DVI-D single link cable from the DVI port on the GPU to the DVI port on the monitor. Nothing. Screen isn't recognized, nothing. I know the cable works as it worked with my old PC to an older monitor. Interestingly, I tried the DVI cable from the DVI port to the Samsung working monitor and I also get nothing. Suggestions? Could my GPU have a bad DVI port?
Specs:
GPU is a PowerColor - Radeon RX 570 4 GB RED DRAGON Video Card
Motherboard is a ASRock B450 Pro4.
