Ok so just noticed in GPU-z that my RX480 only seems to be running in PCIe 2.0 instead of 3.0.

I click the little ? button to start the full power test and it only goes from 1.1 (idle/low power) to 2.0 and when playing games it's the same reading.

I'm running a Gigabyte z68xp ud3 mobo that has dual PCIe 3.0 x 16 slots so I know the MB supports it.

What could be causing this and how to fix it?

Actually, being Gigabyte and Intel, you may not. If your motherboard is Revision 1.0, you only have PCIe 2.0

If you have revision 1.3, you must be using an Intel 22nm CPU
