Hello everyone.
A couple of days ago my new PC arrived, however im having more problems with it than im having joy with it. Before i start, i just wanna say that i only have basic knowledge, so if im missing something super obvious, sorry in advance!
First im gonna list my PC-parts:
Amd Ryzen 7 7800X3D
Amd Radeon RX 7900xtx
2×16GB RAM Kingston Fury Beast RGB CL 30
MSI MAG B650 Tomahawk Wifi
850W be quiet! Pure Power 12 M ATX 3.0 - PCIE 5
Now the problem:
When i start the PC, i get a flickering where ive got screen, then blackscreen, then screen, then blackscreen. This goes for 3-4 secs. After these 3-4 everythings fine and the screen is normal. When playing Monster Hunter wilds, after some time (can be after 30 minutes, but can also be after 3 hours. No consistency), i get a blackscreen and cant do anything. However, i can still hear some sounds or even my friends from discord, but they cant hear me. Both monitors show that they have no signal, so i have to hard restart the pc through the power button. I dont know what might be causing this.
I have tried these basic solutions:
Exchanging the DP cables
Updating the drivers
Completely uninstalling and then reinstalling the drivers
reinstalling w11
None of them worked.
Now, ive read a few articles and discussion regarding the same problem, but i havent got to test them yet.
first suggestion was to disable the "core performance boost" in BIOS. That will be my next shot.
Another solution was to look at the Mhz of the gpu. In afterburner it says mine has 2900mhz, but like i said i dont know anything about that so idk if thats good, alright or bad. Some even said to cap it at around 2000, but wouldnt that just reduce the performance of the gpu? Seems silly to me cause why would i buy a good gpu and then reduce its performance.
Last one said smth about MPO, however ive never heard of that so idk what that even does.
I really hope someone can help, as i dont really want to send it back. I didnt think it would cause me this much trouble tbh. MUCH THANKS IN ADVANCE!!
