RX 7600 not fitting on B450M motherboard

I recently got the Rx 7600 sapphire and I have been having trouble installing it, the metal piece on the left touches the motherboard before I can even get the GPU in the slot, only fix online I saw was bending the metal piece which I do not want to try.

Case is the Nzxt h510

Which metal part? Can you provide pictures? The Sapphire Pulse 7600 is only dual slot, so it should fit easily.

The GPU riser bracket should easily clear the motherboard when correctly aligned in the PCIe slot.

Have you removed the two rear panel blanks from the case, to allow the card bracket to fit in the riser slots?

Hi mate, did you solved the issue? because I was planning to buy a RX 7600 and I have an Msi B450 (Gaming Plus Max AM4 7B86-016R)... but I don't want to buy a GPU just to find out i'm unable to use it because it doesn't fit on my MB.

Sorry to bother, but can you provide more clear photos of the problem? because the one you provided weren't too sharp.

Much appreciated

I think you'll face no problem with RX 7600 + MSI B450 Gaming Plus Max. Lets take a look:

That's the OP's mobo with a poor design at the upper PCI-E vs Components.
There is no enough room for a huge (and thick ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ) GPU like RX 7600, specially when we talk about the Gaming OC version from Gigabyte. Actually it would be no problem for the mobo and gpu themselves but this specific audio component and the metal piece of the GPU are a huge problem.

That's the mobo you want to buy. It has waaaay more room to fit a huge gpu like that. I think you'll be fine. It's very difficult to find GPUs with a different position for the upper PCI-E and i think AMD wouldn't produce any gpus that need more room in the upper side of the mobo. They always tend to place the PCB at the upper side instead of the shroud with fans bc this would be a huge mistake and the gpu wouldn'f fit bc of the ram slots.

To conclude: you can buy your awesome RX 7600 and it will fit perfectly in your MSI B450 Gaming Plus Max).
