Hello everyone, i really need your help with my issue.
I've been having issue with my GPU for a few months now and im about to lose hope. so the problem is my RX 6900 XT 16GB Gaming OC from Gigabyte always getting black screen/lost signal everytime im playing game. it followed up with weird error/buzzing noise comes out from my headset and ez_debug light from my motherboard lit at VGA. this occurs randomly, it can happen immediately at loading screens, or minutes after finished loading the game, and it can stays normally for a few hours until it happens again. when this problem occurs, the fans and RGB lights at my pc case is still functional acting like the pc still have power. but i have to fully reset my PC in order for me to use it again. funny enough, stress testing with 3dmark or similar application wont trigger this issue. please i really need help, i alraedy claimed for warranty at the store in Indonesia. but they are unable to reproduce my issue at their end and ending up by giving back my GPU untouched. this is the list of my own method to solve this issue before im claiming the warranty:
-replacing CPU (including the cooler)
-replacing PSU(from 750W corsair,850W corsair and superflower, and the latest one is 1000W from FSP Hydro Gold)
-replacing motherboard
-replacing ram(3 times now)
-PBO and core boost disabled(no effect)
-XMP disabled(no effect)
-replacing SSD
-reinstall windows
-DDU driver
-reinstall chipset
-updating motherboard BIOS
-replacing displayport cable
-disabling ULPS(no effect)
-disabling MPO(no effect)
-use pro version of the driver(no effect)
-use minimal and driver only adrenaline version
-repairing windows files(sfc)
-windows update
-updating monitor firmware
-undervolting and underclocking GPU
-disable zero RPM at adrenaline driver
-use seperate power cable(no daisy chained)
-use the vbios switch on the gpu(OC and silent, same result)
-raise and lower power limit 10%(no effect)
-disabling freesync and lowered DP version on the monitor
-disable HDMI secure link on adrenaline driver
okay, that was a long list i know. i was desperate so i dig lots of method on the internet and i've exhausted everything.
the weird thing is my GPU core clock speed was defaulted at 2400 MHz, the product page indicated that the max core clock speed is at 2285 MHz(boost speed)
i did underclock it to the default non boost speed at 2050 Mhz and it still getting black screen.
i've never overclock this GPU and i've only discover the core clock being messed up after i tried to tune the GPU when this issue occurs.
after reseting the pc and checking the device manager, the GPU is disabled and i have to restart the pc again.
i;ve checked the event viewer and it said kernel 41(63), but i know it was because i reset the pc with holding the power button
please im begging you, anyone that can help.
