Hi guys and gals,
I built my computer about one and a half month ago and was playing just fine, but since a couple of days ago, it started to do something strange: the screen goes black and the PC hard resets itself. I had UV and OC the GPU but had played with that same config for about one month almost without problem. I downloaded a game on steam (haven't even played it yet) and I don't know if the config detected by the adrenalin software for the new game had changed something and it's causing the issue, I know is very unlikely, but I though it was something worth mentioning.
System:
- Win-10x64.
- Ryzen 5 3600X stock.
- B550i Gaming Edge Wifi.
- 2x8GB Crucial Ballistix @2666 MHz CL16. (OC pending)
- RX 5700XT Nitro+ 20.4.2 (Freq: 2055 MHz UV: 1080 VRAM: 1800 MHz Fan curve adjusted more aggressively)
- PSU: Seasonic Focus GX-650W 80+ Gold.
- NZXT H210i with 2x140 inlet fans and 2x120 oulet fans.
- HD: WD 1 TB NVMe.
PSU manufacturer recommends using 2 separate PCIe cables to power beefy (8+8) GPUs, I have it with just 1 PCIe with the two connectors at the end for the 8+8, but as I stated above, I hadn't had any problem until now.
Any help would be appreciated!
