I have been trying since Nov 2020 to get 2 displays working, first with 20.45 drivers and now with 20.50 drivers. No installation has been without messages till today. I wiped my installation and clean re-installed 20.04. I allowed it to automatically update but did not install any additional software. I then installed the 20.50 drivers without messages. Once again however, only one display. I created loads of logs as per bug report instructions and then could not send them, the site no longer operates !!
The nearest I have got so far was with Uby 20.10 and AMDGPU 20.45. I got two identical displays and no way to make them different other than switching one off !!!
Issues around this subject have been going on for months and months. These gpu cards are not cheap. Get a grip AMD !
