RX 570 4 GB - Strange behaviour starting from 3.5 GB

looks like your VRAM may be overheating

check the card thermals 

best bet is a thermal camera

I get the same thing, it's probably a bug in the program.

that does suggest a program bug as RAM is a bit faster than 5 GB/s

Not a program bug, a driver bug OR an hardlimit in the memory controller as seen in the "good old" GeForce 970 case.

It's impossible, the test lasts some seconds.

I have RX 480 8GB, and the result is same...

It's clearly not the temperature. No issue on a GeForce of mine, so it's not the program.

Something in the drivers or in the memory controller.....

Same issue going on with lastest drivers.....the Ellesmere (RX570) 256 bit bus is for ALL 4 GB VRAM?
