Hi Guys,
have some issues with Gigabyte AMD Radeon RX 560 OC 4GB GDDR5
Tried different driver versions with the same end result. After some time X minutes or a few hours I get BSOD with Thread Stuck in Device Driver error message, pointing at atikmdag.sys file.
When it happens, I need to reboot and:
1) monitor gets no display signal - checked inside, GPU does not start - fans are not spinning
2) USB gets no power (KB and Mouse LED's do not have power as well)
3) Mainboard fans work and LEDs are flashing.
To get it working again I need to disconnect power from the PC and boot it again after a few minutes.
Attaching minidump files, some info from system monitor or completed basic test in 3D Mark demo. (I have checked also RAM and HDD, but no errors were found)
I played with different driver versions cleaning previous ones in Safe mode first, from recommended by Gigabyte, to latest 18.2.2 or 18.2.3 recently, but with same effect. I am not 100% sure if I should just send GPU back to the shop, asking to change it or try something else. System is built on Thermaltake München 430W ATX, AMD Ryzen R5 1600, ASRock AB350M-HDV, 8GB (2x4GB) Crucial DDR4-2133 CL15 and Samsung SSD 960 EVO Series NVMe 250GB.
Any idea how to bite this?
