Good afternoon.
Rx 470 red dragon with 1 DVI port, using a dvi-hdmi adapter
Samsung odyssey 5g monitor.
The card does not display more than 1920x1080 60hz. Monitor gives me a notice that it is necessary to set it to 2560x1440 144hz. Is there a solution to raise the HZ and resolution specifications at least a bit?Or is that the maximum?

Many adapters have those same limitations unless you purchase one that specifically mentions it is for HD and 4K output.

looking at Amazon DVI-HDMI adapters all have a maximum output of 1080P @60 Hz.

If you want to get HD 4K at @144Hz I would try the DP output ports on the GPU card. But it depends on what version DP your GPU card video Output has.

If your GPU card has HDMI 2.0 or higher than you can try using the HDMI video output to get higher Resolutions and frequencies.

I'm curious, the RX 470 Red Dragon does have other output ports, usually 3x DP and 1x HDMI, so why use a DVI->HDMI? Can't you (the OP) simply use the HDMI or DP (with the appropriate cable of course)? I have a DP cable connecting my GPU to a 144Hz monitor, no issue at all.

I believe it will helpful if you upload an image of GPU-Z to verify you do have a RX470.

It is impossible that a RX Series GPU card only has one DVI Video Output. Unless all the other video outputs are defective.

Huh, one DVI port/output? The I put it to you that it's not the PC RX 470 Red Dragon @elstaci has pointed out, and I had mentioned, has 3x DP and 1x HDMI ports, in addition to 1x DVI.

I reread all of your replies in this thread and no where do you mention it was a mining GPU card only that it was a PowerColor Red Dragon RX 470 with one DVI output.

Unfortunately since it has only one DVI output then you are pretty much stuck at 1080P @ 60 Hz unless you can find an adapter that will convert DVI output to 144 Hz HDMI input.

According to this Cable website about DVI and 144 Hz:

Since the RX470 is a newer GPU Card,  DVI output should be DVI-D Dual Link port. But your problem will be in finding a DVI-HDMI adapter that will support 1080P @ 144 Hz.  Like I mentioned all the DVi-HDMI Adapters only support 1080P @60Hz was all that I could find, at least, at Amazon.

You can try an find a DVI-D Display at 144 Hz and it might work depending on the type of DVI Port on your Mining GPU Card.

NOTE: You might also may need to flash a Regular PowerColor vBIOS since that GPU card probably has a Mining vBIOS on it.

• I knew about Mining versions of various cards, but it didn't occur to me that PowerColor has a mining edition of the RX 470 Red Dragon. I'd thought the 'Red Dragon' moniker was reserved for their gaming cards only, live and learn!
