Random green screen crashes with Sapphire RX 6600XT

Hello,

 

I've bought a Sapphire RX 6600XT Nitro+ 2 years ago, and I've been getting these random green screen crashes ever since I've got it. At first I thought that it was an issue with my CPU overheating, because at that time I have used a bad CPU cooler that needed to be replaced, but the problem kept happening. So far I've tried: reinstalling the drivers, upgrading my PSU from a 500w one to a 650w one, using different monitor setups, monitoring my GPU temperature under load (and it seemed fine).

 

How would I be able to fix this issue?

Honestly, it's probably a hardware issue. I had the same problem with my 7800XT and undervolting it seemed to help for a bit, but the issue eventually came back.

So, to answer your question - by getting a different GPU.
