last year (2023) in May, I assembled a computer and opted for the Gigabyte Radeon RX6600 as the graphics card.
I believe it was in June when it suddenly started. It's terrible and just plain annoying. When I turn on my PC normally and then, after booting, reach the login screen, the screens go black and only a hard restart helps.
After the restart, I get a completely wrong image (zoomed in and not normal) on my second monitor, my actual main screen remains black. The only solution is to uninstall and reinstall the AMD software. This problem now occurs for me sometimes every 3-5 days and then only once a month.
Between restarts, when reinstalling the AMD software, Windows then installs its own drivers and both screens work again.
Today (01.03.24), I have disabled Windows from downloading its own drivers via group policies. I will provide an update on whether that works. Additionally, I plan to reinstall Windows at some point.
