I have an ASRock Radeon RX 6950 XT that has always had pretty decent temperatures -- under full load the gpu would be between 55-60 and the hotspot would be between 73-85 (@~340W). About a month ago, after a driver update, I noticed the edge temp now shoots up to about 75 while the hot spot and every other temp sensor behaves exactly as before (ie, mem junction temp never exceeds 58, often not 56, hot spot after today max was 83C but edge was 75C). The delta between temps seems to be more of what I originally expected, but not sure if something changed with the way the edge temperature is read or calculated or if it is an indication of some other issue.
The case it is in is a fractal meshify 2 atx, 3x120mm front intakes, 1x120 bottom intake, 2x120mm top exhaust (cpu aio), 1x140mm rear exhaust. Nothing has changed in months. I don't think the edge temp change is dangerous, but no matter what I do it seems to spike into the 70s now. Thanks for any input.
