Hello,
I'd like to know if there is any way to access the Radeon R5 230 (OEM) openCL 1.2 on Ubuntu 18.04. The specs say the card supports openCL 1.2, but the Ubuntu driver does not. I'd like to at least see if I can use the GPU for graphics rendering in Blender 2.8. The architecture of the card is Terascale2, so not supported by either Blender 2.8 or the AMDGPU(-Pro) driver, and Ubuntu no longer supports the fglrx driver for the card. Ubuntu 14.04, earlier kernel versions, does support the fglrx driver, but Blender 2.8 doesn't support that version of Ubuntu. So does anyone know of a way to open the openCL 1.2 on this card for UBUNTU 18.04.
Thanks
