radeon pro wx9100 for egpu. I have a mac now but will be transitioned over to a pc soon. Can I still use this egpu set up for pc as well?

I want to buy a radeon pro ex9100 for an egpu set up. I have a mac pro running sierra 10.13.6 at the moment, but I will be transitioned over to a PC in about a year. Can I still use this egpu set up with the new pc I will have?

Yes, but you need a Thurnderbolt connection. eGPU works only with Thunderbolt.
