I installed the W5700 card in the Mac without a problem but when I connect it to the 2nd XDR Pro Display, with the USB-C port on the card, nothing happens.  The card has no exhaust either.  The first monitor connected to the Apple card works fine as before.

Which input on the XDR Pro Display are you using?

I spoke to Apple support and they convinced me the Radeon card was dead on arrival.  I exchanged the W5700 for a new card.  Same thing.  Question, the card requires power? with plugging into the front 6 and 8 pin connector on the Radeon?  I thought the Mac was supposed to power the card through the slots.

I assume you got the W5700 from apple. If you have the 6x pin and 8x pin on the GPU, you must connect to power supply unit.
