Are there any plans for Mac compatibility with the Pro Vii or work - arounds to enable functionality with OSX?

That is the type of question that only Apple Support can answer.

MacOS has built in native drivers for AMD GPU cards.  So if OSX has native drivers for the the Professional card it should work. But you need to contact Apple Support to see if OSX supports your GPU card or not.
