Radeon Pro SSG for HPC: speedup?

Dear all,

I am interested in using GPUs for HPC, specifically for running programs like LAMMPS, Gromacs or CP2K. The Radeon Pro SSG seems to be a very nice card and I am wondering if the calculations are much faster than on the WX 9100, since the data can be put on the SSD on the Radeon Pro SSG? Does anyone has experience with it? Thanks a lot.

The Radeon Pro SSG is intended for professional movie editors working with native 8K video and other such high tasks, not computations.
