Problem with AMD

Hello everyone,

I have a lenovo core-i7 5th edition with 8GB RAM AND AMD Radeon R7 M265 Series graphics card, but my laptop says it's using some intel graphics card. I'm having trouble playing games like Days Gone , Assasin's Creed, Watch Dogs, Forza (among others) and running applications like Adobe After Effects  I have tried to make it use AMD but failed. I think something is wrong with my AMD because even when I try to check about it's information, most of the headings are followed by a not available such as :
Provider - Not Available
2D Driver Version - Not Available
Direct3D® Version - Not Available
OpenGL® Version - Not Available
OpenCL™ Version - Not Available
AMD Audio Driver Version - Not Available
Memory Clock - Not Available
Core Clock - Not Available
Total Memory Bandwidth - Not Available

So I wanted to asked how it can be fixed. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

First you must prevent Windows Update from automatically changing/installing a generic driver.

Download this app and then select 'Disable'

You must update the integrated Intel graphics before installing the AMD driver. Go to INTEL SUPPORT and run their update tool. Install all it finds. Then install the correct AMD driver > https://www.amd.com/en/support/graphics/amd-radeon-r7-series/amd-radeon-r7-200-series/amd-radeon-r7-...

The choice of which graphics to use in a game is selected in Windows...not AMD options.

Go to settings / System / Display and scroll down to Graphics.
