Hello everybody, Im having problems with my PC for past 6-7 months. I bought my rx 6800 xt in 2022 as used and put it in my razer egpu. There it was running normally. Then I decided to try it out in my old rig (Asrock b450m, ryzen 5 2600, 16 GB RAM 3200 mhz 16 CL, 650 WATT gigabyte bronze PSU and swapped it with rx 590 fatboy). There it was running normally aswell. Then sometime in may I decided to upgrade my cpu aswell and bought ryzen 7 5800 x3d. I had to update BIOS on my motherboard and dont know if I have done something wrong.
It was working all fine for about a month. But one time at the end of May/June it crashed while I was playing rust. So I thought it was due to a high temperatures in summer. So I just ignored it. And only updated drivers.
Then it started happening more often so I started troubleshooting. Bought a new case and power supply (gigabyte 1000 W gold +). Tried reinstalling windows, DDU drivers (older versions etc.), Vbios flash, BIOS update, changing RAMS, put separate cables from PSU to GPU, basically everything I was able to find on forums.
I tried my friends GPU (rtx 3060 ti) which has a different power input (only one cable). That worked without problems. Then I also tried mine rx 590 which needs 2 cables to power it so I put 2 separate cables in but it was crashingthe drivers, freezing in game, so I tried to put daisy chained cable in and it works fine. I did a lot of benchmarking too via realBench, superposition, unigine Heaven, OCCT, games (fortnite, rust, metro 2033). Some of the benchmarks and games were running fine but the realBench caused it everytime, but in different times. Metro would cause it aswell but one time when the GPU was heavily undervolt it would run fine in metro but crash in other games/ benchmarks.
So I would like to know if the problem is caused by faulty GPU or some compatibility issue. I will really happy for any answers. And Im sorry for any misspronaunciations as english is not my native language.
Thank you everyone.
