Pc not recognising graphics card (powercolor 7900 xtx)

I built my pc three days ago and it had been working fine until yesterday when it froze and then crashed (all that was open was YouTube, Spotify and discord).

Computer Specs:

Ryzen 9 7900x

ASUS ROG STRIX b650e-f gaming wifi

G skill 64gb 2x32 6000mhz cl30 ram

Thermalite peerless assassin

Crucial P5 pro 2tb

Corsair rm850e

PowerColor Hellhound 7900xtx

When it started again the computer felt slower and upon checking the task manager it said it was using my integrated graphics. AMD Adrenaline and device manager doesn't recognize that my GPU is plugged into my computer. I am still receiving output through the display port cable that is plugged into it and the lights on the card are still on. The fans also turn on and off as the GPU gets hotter. After running Display Driver Uninstaller and restarting my computer, opening ddu again says that it can detect the 7900xtx but nothing else in windows is detecting or using it. So far I have tried re-seating, rearranging power cables and resetting cmos. Using a different GPU works so as far as i can tell its a GPU issue.

I have had luck twice now in temporarily fixing the gpu, one of the times resetting the cmos made it work for about 15 minutes and the next time it crashed i tried that and it did nothing. The second time it crashed and stopped getting recognized resetting the cmos worked after doing it about 5 times but my old GPU; RTX 2060 worked throughout that whole period. After this was fixed it lasted around 8 hours of use.

This last time crashing it said a driver crashed and allowed me to send a report to amd which I have done but I am just  wondering if this is something any of you have heard of before or if you have any recommended solutions to stop this from occurring or if there are ways for me to provide logs that may assist me in troubleshooting before I RMA this graphics card through the retailer.
