New rx 570 no display

Hi,

I recently decided to upgrade my gpu from my XFX Radeon HD 6870 to a Gigabyte AMD RX 570. I downloaded my new driver software in preparation, uninstalled my old drivers, removed my card, installed the new card, and...nothing. I cannot get a display, there is no signal. The fans are running so I know it's getting at least some power.

My system specs are:

MB: Intel DH77EB

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3450 CPU @ 3.10GHz, 3101 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)
Installed Ram: 16gb

PSU: OCZ ZT-650W

I have tried:

1. Re-seating the card

2. Changing my bios mode from Legacy to UEFI (someone else recommended)

The bios is quite old but I'm hesitant to try and update it unless it is suggested. Intel, who manufactured my board, stopped giving any bios support about 6 months ago. They have even taken all released bios downloads down from their site (which pisses me off quite frankly). I have found some drivers available from another website but again, I am hesitant to take that route as I don't want to brick my MB. Someone suggested removing battery in MB to reset CMOS. I don't know anything about that, is that something anyone here would recommend?

Thanks for any advice!
