Recently I acquired a new screen for my desktop. This would enable my setup to expand to three monitors. Upon reading online, I found out that besides the two DVI connectors, which I use for my initial two monitors, I needed an active DisplayPort to HDMI adapter to attach my new screen (a 22" TV).
It does work. However, the scaling of the new screen seems to be off. I couldn't find any information in regards to scaling a screen over a DisplayPort to HDMI port. Also, the colors or screen quality seems way off. It is very blurry/pixelated, even though the resolution is set at 1920x1080. Also, in the display settings, I see that the color depth is only limited to 8bpc, with no possibility to set it higher. When I set up for Eyefinity, the problems become worse, with half of the display of the screen falling off of the new monitor.
How can I fix these issues?
