I borrowed a GPU from one of my friend, it's been 2 years now. He told me that it was an R9 270 but the AMD GPU driver shows it as R7 240. I first thought that he might have been mistaken but he wasn't. I tried everything I could but it still detects as R7 240. And now a new problem came up now the I can no longer use the AMD encoder in OBS, whenever I try to use the AMD encoder an error come up which says check if the graphics drivers are up to date. I uninstalled the graphics driver and reinstalled it again but still same error comes up. And the GPU is still recognized a R7 240. PLEASE HELP someone.
