Can anyone please give me some advice on if it is even possible now to flash this gpu to update the bios, and if so, how?

I have tried the different winflash versions I eventually found but they did not work.

I tried the dos box versions I found but they didn't work either.

After no luck on the ATI, MSI and AMD sites I did eventually find a bios rom that I believe to be the one for my card but cannot actually get a program to use with it that actually works.

I have spent hours a night for weeks looking for any information that might help but have found nothing useful.

Any help would be great thanks.

Techpowerup has several BIOS that you can check to see if it the same or upgrade for your RX 580 plus they also have the BIOS burning software:

What are you hoping to gain by flashing your RX 580 card BIOS?

Is the card non-functional and you hope to restore it to operating condition?

Do you have an OC BIOS that you want to flash to attain higher clock speeds?

Are you trying to flash a different model card BIOS to unlock cores/shaders?

Go to TechPowerUp to download AMDVBFlash (previously known as ATIFlash) which has been around forever. You will need to make a bootable media to run the flash utility from. Also highly recommend you have backup graphics (such as IGP) to run from while flashing.
