So, I've been using my GPU with only one monitor (Samsung 21") connected HDMI-HDMI since I bought it. Recently i brought another monitor (Samsung 19") to use as a secondary.
The GPU only has 1 HDMI port so i bought a Displayport-HDMI adapter and connected my new monitor to it and nothing happened.
Went to settings and tryed to force windows to detect the monitor and it said there were no monitor to be found.
I proceeded to check the cables, adapters and monitor with another laptop and they were working just fine.
Then I went to device center and updated the driver for the GPU card. So, when I did it what happened was that I restarted my computer and i could see that both monitor were ON but with the resolution of the smaller one.
When I went ahead and finished the installation of the driver, it all went back to how it used to be, just showing one monitor and not detecting the other.
Please, help me, any advice will be great!!!
