Monitor will not display

I purchased a MSI RX 6650 XT. I am using a Qnix2720LED with only DVD-D input, and an Acer S231HL with D-sub, DVI-D, and HDMI inputs. The Acer works just fine, but the Qnix will only display rotating primary colors. My first attempt was using a HDMI-to-DVI-D adapter, then I purchased a DP-to-DVI-D cable. But neither one worked. To check I used both methods on the Acer and it worked just fine. I also know the Qnix is fine because it worked with both of my previous video cards (R290 and HD 6370).

And I am using the latest drivers. Forgot to post that before.

I found the solution. I needed a powered DP to DVI-D cable to transmit a 1080p signal, since passive DVI-D cannot support that resolution. It is an expensive solution at almost $50, but it works well.
