Monitor automatically set YCbCr420, In sRGB it turns violet.

I have a Dell P2415Q external monitor. When connected to it via HDMI port (my laptop has no other video output), the monitor automatically sets the color profile to YCbCr420 (4K 60 hz). The image is fine, but for photo editing you need sRGB. When I try to set the sRGb profile in the monitor settings, the image turns purple. I experimented with resolutions. When setting 2K 60 hz the monitor indicates that it is in sRGB, but the image is soapy and blurry.

My specs:
Honor MagicBook 14 (ryzen 3500u, Vega 8 iGPU)

Try a different cable..  it may not be able to carry the signal as there are different grades of hdmi.  No dvi.  If you think the cable is good goto your display settings where you have your monitors 1 and 2. Because this is a laptop.  You might have to check the box to extend display to monitor 2.  I know there was an issue with windows about this problem too.  Sometimes the only detect a generic monitor too.
