If this is a LAPTOP then that is normal. AMD generic drivers sometimes shows the family (not sure if that is the correct discription) of GPUs and not the correct GPU installed in the laptop but it is still compatible.
To show the correct GPU in your laptop you must install your Laptop manufacturer's Graphic driver and not AMD generic driver.
Your laptop manufacturer's graphic driver is customized to be 100% compatible and use your laptop's special features while AMD generic drivers may not use all of your laptop's special features even though it will still work.
