Lagging Mouse
i have a lagging mouse problem which started a few weeks ago.
I have isolated it to the AMD RX580 graphics card.
I am running Windows 10 Pro with a 10 generation i5 processor.
I have installed the latest driver for the graphics card.
AMD support is of no help since they have not responded to my problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Shared your problem when was on Intel platform.
Now I have not seen it again.
I tried everything like you. At some point it start to lag and in Task manager you can see DWM.exe heavy load when you move mouse(with pinned windows).
You can try to change your 500-1000 hz mouse(yes you can see it lag only if your mouse is like that) to ordinary 100-200hz.
You can check your mouse here:

Your problem is different. My problem was like - slow and choppy movement when I drag windows.
You may need to check your system with https://www.resplendence.com/latencymon
If it is not showing latency spike when you encounter your problem then it is hardware malfunction of your mouse.

Try to reinstall intel drivers for your motherboard.
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/
Also try to reallocate your 1000hz(gaming) mouse to usb 3.0+ port (blue port).
It seem that your 100-300 hz mouse (ordinary one) working just fine.
PS. Some time ago upgraded my PC to AM4 from Intel and NEVER encountered mouse lag.

Any interruption cause latency. So if your ssd interrupt your CPU and you see spikes in Latency monitor then yes it can.
I suspect that your problem is that mouse connected to USB ports cause massive interruption to your CPU. Whatever the case.
Normal operation cause interruptions but you will never detect it by just using mouse (exception cyber sport games and FPS when you need to move your mouse very fast).

Post your PC configuration and OS version.
It may be different for you because my problem was gone after some Windows/drivers updates.
