I finally bit the bullet and dumped a ton of money into some new PC gear to upgrade my current rig. However, the last component is a new GPU. I've been waiting 3 years for GPU availability and price to be in a place where I feel comfortable buying a new GPU. My last GPU that I bought was a GTX 980ti and would really like to get my rig to be able to play at 4K resolution at 60fps or better. I really want to get the AMD RX 7900 XTX when it comes out but after what I have been seeing with the RTX 4090 getting snatched up by scalpers, I fear that the 7900 XTX is doomed to the same fate of being horded by scum and sold for twice their value. Once again, I feel like I may not be able to replace my aging 980ti with a GPU that I want to complete my build. I have the money, I want the best. No, I don't want to settle for last gen that may or may not provide a stable 60+ fps at 4K resolution.
What steps is AMD taking if any to help their customers obtain their new line of GPUs. How can I get one these GPUs before the scalpers swipe them all?
