Issues running Dayz

When I play Dayz I experience crashing, freezing, and my frames are unstable. The game is just unplayable. I know some old drivers run it fine but why do I spend 350 dollars on a 6600 for it too not be able to run the game even to the point to where I can enjoy playing. This needs to be fixed.

What did you update from?

Did you DDU when you upgraded?

If you were running older drivers or drivers from a different GPU brand when you upgraded, you need to clean your system of them so that the new ones can properly function.

I did uninstall all my drivers before I installed my current one. Right now I run the Adrenaline software and have kept up to date usually checking everyday.

Don't use that driver (22.7.1) it is optional and should only be used if you agree it may have some problems..

Download the recommended WHQL, 22.5.1 or 22.3.1.. I use the 22.3.1 as I find it stable..

it may have its problems, but hot danm it's amazing that I can run non-scaled 4k max settings Minecraft with shaders at ~100 fps with it

I mean, that's fine. And I agree for the most part.

However, in this specific case, we're talking about an EXTREMELY beneficial driver long term, and they're in data collection mode for stability. I want as much data as possible from *my* setup to be sent to them as possible for when their focus moves on to working on new versions, because I want my system running like a dream on this version.

I'll take a few months of not being able to access luxury features in exchange for them collecting the data of my specific rig, and increasing the possibly of fixing or even tailoring the driver to work better/more stably for me specifically

I can confirm that with the latest Adrenalin 22.7.1 the old issue with low performance of RX6000 Series cards in DayZ (DX11) is back. I will revert to Adrenalin 22.5.1.
