Issue with Multi-Monitor Setup and AMD GPU While Gaming
Hello,
I am experiencing an issue with my multi-monitor setup while using my AMD graphics card. Here is my configuration:
- I have three monitors connected to my GPU:
- One monitor (144Hz) is connected via DisplayPort.
- Two monitors (60Hz) are connected via HDMI.
Whenever I try to launch a game, I get an "AMD GPU not detected" or similar error message. However, if I disconnect the HDMI cables from the GPU, the issue is resolved, and the game runs normally.
Additionally, I have already updated my GPU drivers to the latest version, but the problem persists.
Is there any setting to solve my problem on AMD Adrenalin?
Could you please provide guidance on how to fix this issue?
Thank you in advance for your assistance.

The info you provide is quite limited. Please be more specific:
- What is your GPU?
- What is your OS?
- Which driver did you install?
- What are the cables and adapters used?
- What are the resolutions of the monitors set to?
- Make and model of the monitors?
- What are the specs of your CPU/APU and motherboard?
- Does this happen, only when you run a specific game or any game?
- Which game(s) are you running?
- Can you provide an AMDZ Report?
AMDZ Report
- Please extract the amdz-v351.zip available from https://we.tl/t-a4UOMLV9Yq
- Run amdz.exe file as an Administrator
- Select Save All and TXT as the output format
- Click on the blue button to save the report
- The .txt file will be saved in the same folder where you extracted the zipped file

my gpu rx 6700 xt
current version 24.12.1
2 hdmi cables and 1 display cable
all of my monitors are 1080p
my cpu is ryzen 7 5700x
i cant run balatro and beyond all reason
i can run all of the games beside that
By disconnecting the HDMI cables from my graphics card and connecting only my first monitor with a DisplayPort cable, I can run the games I mentioned above without any issues. However, connecting HDMI and DVI cables to the graphics card at the same time causes an OpenGL-related problem. What I want to know is whether there is a way to resolve this issue through the Adrenalin application. Therefore, I don't think the specifications of my system are relevant in this case.

6700 XT has only 1x HDMI output, so you must be using a DP-HDMI adapter or DP-HDMI cable

I summarized, Is this the result of your test ? right ?
(1) Main Monitor - use DP + secondary Monitor - use HDMI: "AMD GPU not detected"
(2) only plug Main Monitor - use DP: work
(3) only plug secondary Monitor - use HDMI: work
