You would have to ask HP support on what they allow for the laptop model.

Ryzen 5 5600x, B550 aorus pro ac, Hyper 212 black, 2 x 16gb F4-3600c16dgtzn kit, NM790 2TB, Nitro+RX6900XT, RM850, Win.10 Pro., LC27G55T..

According to WiKichips the maximum amount of Monitors that the 4700U can support is 4: https://en.wikichip.org/wiki/amd/ryzen_7/4700u

But that depends on your laptop.

Note: if you laptop DP output supports MST Hubs than you can hook up more than one monitor.

Thank you elstaci:

my note book is HP ENVY x360 Laptop - 13-ay0001au  >> https://support.hp.com/th-en/document/c06714793

with external port 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 10Gbps signaling rate (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge); 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-A 5Gbps signaling rate (HP Sleep and Charge); 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-A 5Gbps signaling rate; 1 AC smart pin; 1 headphone/microphone combo

it comes with HP USB-C to Multi-port Hub >> https://www.hp.com/gb-en/shop/product.aspx?id=1BG94AA&opt=ABB&sel=ACC

See if this tech site that explains how to connect more than one external monitor to your laptop: https://www.groovypost.com/howto/use-3-multiple-screens-on-your-laptop-or-pc/

Also this other website explains in more detail including how to configure Windows 10: https://www.consepsys.com/2020/04/28/how-to-connect-several-monitors-to-your-laptop-and-desktop-comp...

From above link:

"Sometimes you have only one HDMI port on your computer (typically on a laptop), but need two ports so that you can connect 2 external monitors. In this case:

It mentions getting a HDMI Splitter so that you can connect to HDMI Monitors from your HDMI Output port on your hub.

Now as far as if your laptop can support 2 external monitors I have no idea. You can try and see if it works with the HDMI Splitter. If not I would suggest you open a HP Support ticket and ask them.

Normally most Users use the DP Port on their PC with a MST Hub to connect several monitors or by Daisy-chaining several monitors together.

The DP port must support MST feature for it to work.

EDIT: Found this HP Thread at HP Forums that mentions connecting 2 HDMI monitors with a HDMI splitter wasn't working on one type of HP Envy laptop model. Mentions to purchase a USB-C Dock instead: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Video-Display-and-Touch/Two-monitors-using-HDMI-splitter/td-p...
