My laptop is configured by default with 2.1 Gb of RAM dedicated to the integrated GPU.
This is too much because the CPU can use only 5.9 Gb despite 8 Mb of installed RAM.
I understand that the corresponding setting is normally in the BIOS (DVMT Pre-allocated in Graphics Configuration in the Advanced tab).
Unfortunately, there is no such option in my BIOS.
Anybody knows how to change this setting outside of the BIOS ?
Configuration: Asus X512DA, CPU Ryzen 5 3500U with Radeon Vega Graphics 8 (integrated GPU), RAM: 8 Gb, no graphic board, windows 10 version 1903, BIOS : American Megatrends 302 (see DxDiag report attached)
I have seen this problem (too much memory dedicated to the GPU) on several ASUS laptops all with an AMD APU, none with an Intel APU.
