I am interested in a multimonitor setup and are wondering if it can do 3 1920x1080 at 360hz?
Hi, it can support up-to 4, though try and get same refresh rates of same model if possible. It'll help in issues like black screen and sudden freezing.
Just to ask, what about from the same output via a splitter?
Sorry I failed to disambiguate.
No worries. And you can use a splitter. But it will output the same image on all three monitors, rather than 3 different work-spaces or an expanded desktop.
I was talking about using a hub for displays that cannot be daisy chained
Sorry, didn't know which were referring to. Yes you can use that too, but they are usually good for non gaming purposes as I know, and 360hz wont be a possibility. Because they do not officially support monitors over 60Hz including 120Hz or 144Hz refresh rate unless otherwise advertised. Though it should be taken incredulously. I've seen Double ASUS 4K 144hz and Dell Had Triple 60hz and similarly StarTech for a Quadruple. Some uses USB Type-C DisplayPort Alternate Mode enabling to support the higher refresh rates like the ASUS models but limiting for 2 displays. You can definitely try, but make sure to get a reliable one. I actually haven't come across any, StarTech should do yet some units tend to fail over time. Still having displays at different refresh rates may reduce overall system performance, so like I mentioned at first, same monitor on same refresh rates is best in any scenarios.
