High Hotspot Temperature XFX AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT

Good afternoon everyone,

I built my PC last year in May and noticed a very high hotspot temperature of my XFX AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT graphic card. When I play very graphical games, who requires big performance by the GPU, such as Red Dead Redemption 2, the temperature rises up to 113 degrees Celsius!

My question is simple: is that normal and can my PC be damaged, when the hotspot temperature is up to 113° Celsius in a long time period?

I did read in the internet, that the graphics card was designed with a hotspot temperature up to 120° Celsius.

Unfortnautely, I wasn't successful in getting an answer by the manufactor (XFX).

Thanks in advance

I find that rather unusual. I myself also own an XFX RX 6700 XT, the Speedster SWFT 309 model to be exact and the highest mine gets to is about 85 hotspot. Did you tried repasting the card?
