Help with new pc randomly shutting down

Specs:

GPU: RX 7600 XT

CPU: Ryzen 5600 X

MOBO: Gigabyte b450m DS3H Wifi

Power supply: MSI Mag A650 bn 650 W

OS: Windows 11

I just built this pc 2 weeks ago, I've played on so far halo 2 MCC, black ops 6 and valorant. it works great on all of them performance wise, but exclusively when i play halo 2 (haven't tries the other halos) my pc randomly shuts down, but the fans and LEDS keep running, it happens every other halo session, windows reliability monitor does not detect anything except for one instance where it displayed the logs i included below, i have to force power down by holding the power button and turn it on again, except today it didn't turn on properly, it said TCP was corrupted and I had to get my windows bitlocker recovery codes to boot in again. This doesn't happen in bo6 which is a much more demanding game, only in halo 2.

solutions I tried:

-disconnected my pcie to fan led connector

-turned off all ai features in amd adrenalin

-watched the gpu and cpu temps, all fine even right before shutdown

-same for utilization

-switched gpu from quiet mode to performance mode

-I thought it could be because i have 5 fans daisy chained but my mobo has hybrid fan header which means it should be able to handle 5 fans

If anyone knows what could be causing this please let me know

Your thread title and problem description state your PC is randomly shutting down. However you go on to state that fans and LEDs are still on, and you have to manually shut down by holding the power button.

Would it be more accurate to state that when playing a specific game, in this case Halo 2, randomly the display goes black but the system still has power?

If that is the case then the problem is likely a driver issue between the game and Adrenalin version you are using. What version of Adrenalin are you using and have you tried any other version?

I said it shuts down because the entire system shuts down, any apps or calls I had open are gone, only my LEDS and fans remain running. I specified halo but i haven't tried any other games (other than call of duty) , I've seen a similar post that had it happen in halo 2 and some other game. I cant find this thread atm but it wasn't very useful.

I'm using adrenalin 24.10.1, and i tried to use the pro driver as well, also tried rolling back and then reinstalling the adrenalin driver, none of which helped

Im currently having the same issue on a newly built pc. 7800x3d paired with a 7900xtx. Everything you said has happened to me, fans/led is on but monitor is not and pc tries to restart itself im guessing. was wondering if you found any fixes or support?

Yesterday i used DDU to delete all AMDdrivers, and after restarting I rolled back the display adapter driver from device manager, i don't know if it fixed it yet but it didn't crash in yesterday's session, keep in mind this will also mean you cant play recent games like bo6.

I can now confirm, that did not fix it
