I have received a HD 7990 today. While booting my PC gives me an error that there is a problem while initializing the gpu. After that i installed a gt 710 just to output a picture. after further inspection the 7990 is registered by device manager, gpuz, hwinfo and the amd driver from the system previous gpu. But still the 7990 refuses to boot.
