GPU scaling

Hi all, first time poster here.  I have a question for the group.  Ive got a Samsun Odyssey G7 27inch monitor connected to AMD Radeon 9800xt software version 23.8.1 using a display port connection.  My question is this, the screen currently doesnt fit the panel of the monitor... as in there is a half inch black bar around the screen if that makes sense.  Previously I would have fixed this using the GPU scaling option to resize the screen but the slider isnt there anymore.

Has anyone seen similar issues or got a resolution?

Thanks in advance guys

I'm assuming you have a RX 7900xt using Windows 11.
Check to see what resolution you are running.
Right Click the Windows desktop, select Display Settings
Scroll down to Scale & Layout. Make sure that the Display resolution is the same as your monitor's. If not change it.

I hope that was your issue.

Thanks for the feedback, checked this and resolution is 2560 x 1440 recommended.  100% text size

Sounds normal, the screen view size is less than the monitor frame size.
