GPU Overheating then AMD Adrenaline shutdown

Dear All,

Kindly help me with this matter:

I have a PC with: Ryzen7 7700X, AMD RX 6900 XT, RAM: 32/6000, NVME 500 GB.

I have played Far Cry 6 with no problems, but when I began playing Far Cry 5, GPU temperature raised to 80-90 C, and CPU kept about  60 c.

After a while in playing Far Cry 5; AMD Adrenaline software crushes, and the game shutdown!

In AMD Adrenaline Software: Performance configuration in tuning tab for this game are as per attached photo.Screenshot 2025-03-13 170721.png

I need your appreciated efforts to solve such issue.

Thanx in advance.

What adrenalin driver version are you using? Did you have the same problem with a previous driver? If not, use AMD DDU tool to clean your drivers and revert back to the last known working driver. Are you getting a crash report when this happens? Might be helpful to post that as well

- Current version: 25.3.1.

- No, I didn't have the same problem with a previous driver.

- if I use AMD DDU tool to clean my driver, I can't remember the the last known working driver's version!!

- How I get that crash report, as when it happened it gave me a message with report. AMD software report 01.jpgScreenshot 2025-03-17 172108.pngScreenshot 2025-03-17 172154.pngScreenshot 2025-03-17 172217.png

@Hytham If you always update your drivers to the latest version, I would go back 1 or 2 versions using the DDU tool to see if you get a more stable experience.
